"I want to tell you about the Transformers!"

So, I never actually elaborated fully on how the 'ol Transformers and I got together.

Here's the main picture: I'm fourteen and STILL crazy with Transformers. There doesn't seem to be a force on this planet that can prevent me to still like them. Be warned though: This a loooong.

I'm not from the 80s. I'm not from the 90s. Born in 1997, my first introduction to Transformers was the Armada TV show and toyline. Not the greatest edition to be introduced to, but as a small child I ate up the toys and show. Even back then I was more into it than most of my friends. Remember those cards the Armada toys come with? Well, in school we had folders to keep homework in or whatnot. We started glueing the cards inside and outside of our folders to decorate them. After first grade ended, I cut out the cards from my folder. I still have them in a booklet today.

Somewhere between Armada and Energon, I was introduced to G1. I remember getting a VCR for the '86 movie, along with 3 others of G1. I remember watching the '86 movie first.... It wasn't the best way to go into G1. I don't remember if Unicron was introduced into Armada yet, but it was either right after that or right before that, but it was cooler to see him Armada after that. But of course, Prime dying didn't effect me. He died right when I was introduced to him, which confused me at the time. Also after that movie I also was confused why Galvatron was just a different colored Megatron in Armada, since the movie was a totally different design.

I enjoyed the G1 episodes I had when I was younger. I absolutely fell in love with the Constructions, due to my love of construction vehicles at the time, plus it was a combiner. I remember getting a G1 Devastator toy... That was a knockoff I'm sure. It broke many times, which really disappointed me...  The only surviving part of that toy I have is a gun and a head. Both of which I don't know where they are.

I'll be honest, when Energon came, I really liked the animation. For the first episode. After that, I could care less about the animation. Towards the end of the show, I had no idea what happened to it. I thought that it wasn't on TV anymore! But I still bought up the toys. I was really wanting to see the show when I saw combiners. The Constructions blew my little third grade mind. But of course I could NEVER find all of them. I even refused to by two of the same character because that didn't make sense to me then.

Looking back I'm kind of glad I never saw the Energon combiners in the show. I would've been very disappointed of the way they were portrayed. That is, combiners that didn't show of the aspect of a combiner. I don't even know if the limbs are even characters in the show!

Like I said before. Energon tapered off with me TV show-wise. I was introduce to the Cybertron series by going to a Toys 'r us and seeing a huge whack of new Transformers toy. I bought Landmine and Dirtboss. When I returned to the hotel (we were on vacation) it seemed to be fate that when I turned the TV on. Transformers Cybertron. I watched the whole series and still bought toys. Rinse and repeat for the third time.

I remember reading of Transformers.com in 2006 that there would be a Transformer live action movie. I squealed with joy. What I found funny now is I remember seeing the Classics toys and thinking they were movie toys. Hehe... If only I would've bought more of them...

But yeah. One of the fond memories of seeing the movie with my friends is shaving a heated discussion of the whole Brawl/Devastator thing. It was hard to explain that Devastator was Brawl and even harder to explain why.

Then Animated happened. My first reaction was "it looked like I little kid cartoon..." I left Transformers for a good time, coming back in TFA season 3. That's when I gained some sense and watched the show. I searched the net for more Transformers content other than the official website, finding all kinds of places. I searched "transformers" on iTunes and got into podcasts. I download episodes of WTF @ TFW and TFA Smrtcast.

And then TFW2005. My mother bought me the 20th anniversary of the '86 movie in '06, and I watched every bit of video on those two discs. The Scramble City with Commentary bit introduced me to TFW. I got online and checked it out, looked at the front page and remember getting off. We had dial-up back then, so maybe someone was trying to call or something, but after that I never got back on that site again. Until 2009.

WTF @ TFW made me go back to the TFW website, and I feel in love with it. Custom toys, artwork, news, it was awesome! But I was twelve. my mother didn't want to sign that thing you need to join if you're under thirteen, so I had to lurk  around unnoticed for a year.

The day after my thirteenth birthday I joined the site under the name Shadowbreaker. Then I bunch of stuff happened and he I am today! For a fourteen year old fan, I think I share many aspects of the other older fans on the internet. I own an MP Rodimus Prime! The first run too! I cannot tell how relieved I was when I got it and it wasn't broken... My mother would've killed me.

...Holy crap. I think my brain is fried... But I've been wanting to get it out there somehow. I've really been keeping my age secret around the web, and I'm really getting tired of it. Oh well.

I really hope at least someone reads this. Just one. Or at least say you read it. It would mean a lot to me.

...Also! I've left out a lot of other things that I could've put in here. I'm lazy. It's also almost two in the morning. A lot of this may have came out wrong due to my sleepiness.

If you actually read all of this please tell me. Hope you gained something from this!
